Rhiannon Evans has been designing and making her Celtic-inspired jewellery in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains for over 40 years. Many of her pieces have been influenced by the legacy of the Celts: the language, the folklore and their traditions. But rather than simply copying actual historical finds, she comes up with her own unique interpretations of ancient designs. Other pieces draw their inspiration from the landscape and wildlife found in this beautiful part of Wales.
Rhiannon still makes much of the jewellery herself, with the help of assistant goldsmiths trained by her, on the premises in Tregaron. Their creations are made in silver and gold and also using rare and precious Welsh gold. You can watch them at work in their purpose-built viewing workshops.
